What We Do

Beautiful Colours of Holi

Colour Pulse - Colour Trending - Colour Forecasting

Life moves, and so do our wishes, needs and whims. Colour is a direct fulfillment of the emotional needs generated by the world, the world around us and the world within us.

Trends from the global forecasts don’t deeply resonate with the unique nature of life in the Caribbean.

Once a year, we bring together our research and observations, knowledge of people, needs and colours. With that knowledge, we create and deliver a palette reflective of those unique needs and desires. From that palette, the team from each country selects a “Caribbean Colour of the Year.”

Colour Pulse - What we are being drawn to right now - what is important to live with.

Colour Trend - The colours gaining popularity reflecting what and who we are in the next 1-2 years.

Colour Forecasting - Looking further out into the future, with knowledge of global economic and design trends and how they influence the Caribbean, we forecast the future of colour in the Caribbean.

Fawn Chang

World-renowned Colour Expert, Fawn Chang, has been on the leading edge of Colour & Design Trends for over 30 years.

While trending and forecasting for the world’s foremost international manufacturers, Fawn has spent extensive time speaking and working in the Caribbean for the past 10 years.

In so doing Fawn realized that a lot of the design tools and the colour trends coming from the international community are not relevant in the region. As a result, she set out to find a cross section of both established and up-and-coming designers from multiple Caribbean countries and to bring them together to identify, trend and forecast colours and palettes representative of the unique and vibrant tapestry of Caribbean life and living.

Fawn has a special way of sharing her passion for people, her extensive knowledge of colour and her unique way of bringing the design community together to collaborate on colour trends, colour theory and other design principles in a way that reflects the beautiful and bold way colour is enjoyed and used within the Caribbean.
